Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 2026

Our Commitment

OceanAtlasXII is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Measures We Take

To ensure accessibility, we take the following measures:

  • Include accessibility as part of our development process and internal policies
  • Use semantic HTML to provide meaningful structure to assistive technologies
  • Provide text alternatives for non-text content
  • Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
  • Associate form labels with their corresponding inputs using proper HTML attributes
  • Maintain sufficient color contrast ratios throughout the interface
  • Test with common screen readers and assistive technologies

Compatibility with Assistive Technologies

Our platform is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Speech recognition software
  • Keyboard-only navigation

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of our platform may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • Dark theme contrast: Some areas of our dark-themed interface may have contrast ratios that do not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively auditing and improving these areas.
  • Third-party content: Certain embedded third-party components (such as payment processors or external widgets) may not fully conform to our accessibility standards. We work with our vendors to advocate for improvements.
  • Complex data visualizations: Some charts and reports may have limited alternative text descriptions. We are working to add comprehensive descriptions to all data visualizations.

Third-Party Tools

We use industry-standard frameworks and libraries that are built with accessibility in mind. Our platform leverages semantic HTML5 elements, ARIA attributes where necessary, and follows established patterns for accessible web applications. We regularly review our third-party dependencies for accessibility compliance.

Reporting Accessibility Issues

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our platform. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

When reporting an issue, please include the following details so we can address it as quickly as possible:

  • A description of the accessibility problem
  • The URL or page where you encountered the issue
  • The assistive technology and browser you were using
  • Any suggestions for how we might fix the problem

Ongoing Commitment

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are committed to continually improving the user experience for all of our customers. We regularly review and test our platform, train our development team on accessibility best practices, and incorporate accessibility requirements into our design and development workflow. Our goal is to ensure that every user can access and benefit from our services, regardless of ability.
