Respect for Intellectual Property
OceanAtlasX respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content hosted on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a written takedown notification to our designated DMCA agent.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
Per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notification must include the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works
- Identification of the infringing material: A description of the material that you claim is infringing, including the URL or other specific location on our platform where the material can be found
- Your contact information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- Accuracy statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf

Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- Identification of the material: A description of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled
- Statement under penalty of perjury: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which OceanAtlasX may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, OceanAtlasX has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our platform or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
